Your Leaven/Core Group
We met on 18th January, here are three of the issues that were discussed:-
1. The Christmas service – Thank you to Kathy, her helpers and the children for the wonderful Nativity and Fr Jonathon, all ministers and everyone who helped to make our celebrations such a success.
2. To promote and develop the liturgy beginning with the music group by, asking for more singers and musicians to join the group and someone to take over the leadership role and for 2 people to operate the sound system.
3. To encourage more altar servers including Adults.

are invited to meet after Mass on the last Friday of every month, 10.40am to 11.30am to reflect and discuss the Sunday scriptures. From Sue Petritz.

Why not join us for Rosary Monday to Thursday, or Adoration and Mass on Friday?
Altar Servers
Training sessions for all existing and new servers will commence in the Church on Saturday 11th February at 10.30 am. New members would be very welcome. The only requirements are that you have received your first holy communion and you regularly attend the 9.30 am mass at Christ the King. Our Music Group is looking to revitalize and GROW…
Sadly Jackie will be withdrawing from leading the music group soon…so we are looking for a music group leader along with singers and instrumentalists if you enjoy singing or can play an instrument OR you know someone who can, please speak with Sr. Hannah as soon as possible. Fr. Terry has kindly offered to spend some time with us, So Come On all you Music Lovers. Come and use your musical gifts and talents to help others celebrate the mass in song. I have almost completed the Archive folder and will leave it at the back of the church Fridays & Sundays for anyone who wants to browse through it. Many thanks to those of you who contributed photos and past newsletters etc. I hope you enjoy your browse! – Ken

Songs of Praise – Sunday 11th March at 3pm
As part of the continuing celebrations for the 150th anniversary of Crawley parish, you are cordially and wholeheartedly invited to join us in a mini “Songs of Praise” afternoon to be held at St Edward the Confessor, Pound Hill on Sunday 11th March at 3pm. To be followed by tea, coffee and cakes in the social club afterwards. All donations gratefully accepted.
All are very welcome and even if we are a little further away than your usual place of worship you will receive a warm and friendly reception.
