Music Practice

Calling all musicians, singers & instrumentalists for the Parish Jubilee on 10th June at St. Wilfrid’s. Rehearsals will be at the Friary on 23rd May at 7.30pm, 6th June at 7.30pm and on the day at St. Wilfrid’s at 10am before Mass begins.

Parish Bereavement Support Group

If you have lost a loved one and would like an opportunity to talk and share your experiences with someone also bereaved, please do come along to our next meeting on Tuesday 22nd May, 1 – 3pm Friary Hall. Join us for a cup of tea or coffee; bring a snack or a sandwich with you. All welcome.

History of Crawley Parish

We are compiling a history to celebrate the 150th Jubilee. Do you have any memories or stories to share? Maybe you could write them down and send to the Parish Office or email them to crawley.parish@dabnet.org Or perhaps you would prefer to talk about them? If so, someone can visit you.

We are also looking for items of historical interest to mount an exhibition focusing on 150 years of the Church in Crawley. If you have something you can loan for the exhibition, it would be greatly appreciated.

To all those who came to the VIVACE concert for FLHIP in spite of the bad weather. Many thanks to all those wonderful people who donated cakes, sold tickets, made sandwiches and cleared up. Most of all many thanks to the Parish team for your kindness and welcome. We raised £640.50 which will be sent to help Fr. Marek furnish the new school in Kniewo which has been finished and is due to be blessed and opened on June 21st. I will be there and will let you know how the money has been spent. May God bless you and reward you for your generosity’ from Fr. Rafal and Renata Sapieha.

Saint Vincent de Paul Summer Camp

Forms are now available for boys aged 8-14 and girls aged 9-13 who would like to go to the summer camp in Essex. Dates – boys 28th July – 4th August, girls 11th -18th August, cost £140 per week per child (some help may be available towards the cost).
