Catholic Parliamentary and Public Policy Internships

For the last nine years the Catholics Bishops Conference has organised Parliamentary and Public Policy Internships for recently graduated Catholics.  This year we are looking to offer 8 internships:  Five interns will be placed with Christian MPs at Westminster; two in Public Policy with CAFOD and CARITAS Social Action Network; and one in a media internship at Archbishop’s House Westminster.   All internships will run from September 2012 – July 2013 and include accommodation and subsistence allowances.

The St John Vianney Group: A monthly meeting in Crawley for men of all ages brave enough to consider a vocation to the priesthood. Youth Ministry Training

The eli perspective: This will take place at DABCEC, Crawley once a month from 10th March 2012 to 7th July from 10am to 4pm The cost is £150 for the course run by experienced Youth trainers, David and Sarah Beresford, supported by Ray Mooney, Diocesan Youth Adviser. ‘Flame Congress’ National Catholic Youth Event’

On March 24th, 10,000 young Catholics will gather at Wembley Arena for the largest Catholic youth event of its kind ever held in the UK. Crawley Deanery has bought 50 tickets. The day will include music, talks, prayer and a huge amount of other things. Since there is a link to the Olympics there will also be a number of stars from the world of sport. It’s open to anybody in Year 9 or above, up to young adults.
